Our students are to take pride in their appearance. Good dress and work habits reflect a proper school attitude. Students shall arrive and leave in the clothing prescribed in this dress code. The following dress code has been established for Muhammad University of Islam male (brothers) and female (sisters) students.

Students are subject to dress code inspection at any time. A student who fails to observe the dress code or who cannot immediately correct a cited infraction of this code will be sent home. MUI is not responsible for providing uniform items (bow ties, tams, etc.) It is the parent's responsibility to ensure their child is in complete adherence to the MUI Dress Code. Failure to adhere to the following dress code could result in the child's suspension or expulsion from school.

Parent's Responsibility

  1. Ensuring that their child is in complete uniform compliance with the M.U.I. uniform dress code BEFORE arriving to school.
  2. Responsible for the maintenance, repair and cleanliness of their child's school uniform.

Scholars improperly dressed may not be admitted into the classroom and sent home for the day unless a parent can immediately correct the issue. The school is not responsible for correcting uniform issues or providing missing items (bow ties, shoes, shirts, etc.). Personal hygiene is essential to a healthy self-image. Students are expected to be clean and neatly groomed each day. Deodorant and personal hygiene products should be used as needed.
